Ingredients
  

  • 2 plant-based chicken breasts about 200g
  • 2 tbsp vegan teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp garlic minced
  • 1 tsp ginger grated
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp chili flakes
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp spring onions chopped

Method
 

  1. Make the marinade.
  2. Mix teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, salt, pepper, and chili flakes.
  3. Coat the vegan chicken.
  4. Brush the marinade generously over plant-based chicken breasts.
  5. Heat the grill pan.
  6. Add olive oil and warm over medium heat.
  7. Grill.
  8. Cook vegan chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until charred and glossy.
  9. Add extra glaze.
  10. Brush remaining teriyaki sauce on top.
  11. Finish.
  12. Garnish with sesame seeds and spring onions.
