Ingredients
  

  • 200 g plant-based ground beef
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic minced
  • 1 tsp ginger minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar
  • ½ cup mixed veggies carrots, beans, peas
  • ½ tsp chili flakes optional
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • 1 tbsp spring onions chopped
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

Method
 

  1. Heat the pan.
  2. Warm 1 tbsp olive oil and add 200g plant-based ground beef.
  3. Add aromatics.
  4. Stir in 1 tsp garlic and 1 tsp ginger.
  5. Mix the sauce.
  6. Whisk soy sauce, maple syrup, and rice vinegar in a bowl.
  7. Pour and simmer.
  8. Add sauce to the pan and cook until glossy.
  9. Add veggies.
  10. Stir in ½ cup mixed vegetables, salt, pepper, and chili flakes.
  11. Assemble.
  12. Serve the teriyaki mixture over warm rice and top with sesame seeds and spring onions.
