Ingredients
  

For Vegan “Turkey” Meatballs
  • Plant-based turkey-style mince – 250 g
  • Onion – 2 tbsp finely chopped
  • Garlic – 1 tsp minced
  • Parsley – 1 tbsp chopped
  • Breadcrumbs – 3 tbsp
  • Olive oil – 1 tbsp
  • Salt – ¼ tsp
  • Pepper – ¼ tsp
  • Paprika – ½ tsp
  • Soy sauce – 1 tsp
For Serving
  • Cooked pasta or rice – 1 cup
  • Tomato sauce – ½ cup
  • Fresh herbs – 1 tbsp

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  2. Add plant-based mince, onion, garlic, parsley, breadcrumbs, paprika, soy sauce, salt, and pepper to a bowl.
  3. Mix until everything combines smoothly.
  4. Shape into small meatballs.
  5. Place them on a parchment-lined tray.
  6. Brush lightly with olive oil.
  7. Bake for 20 minutes, flipping halfway.
  8. Heat tomato sauce in a pan.
  9. Add meatballs and coat them evenly.
  10. Serve with pasta or rice and garnish with herbs.
