Chai Tea Latte with a Splash of Vanilla Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • Black tea bags: 2
  • Almond milk: 2 cups
  • Water: 1 cup
  • Maple syrup: 2 tbsp
  • Vanilla extract: 1 tsp
  • Ground cinnamon: ½ tsp
  • Ground ginger: ½ tsp
  • Cardamom: ¼ tsp
  • Cloves: ¼ tsp

Method
 

  1. Boil water in a saucepan, add tea bags, steep for 5 minutes.
  2. Stir in almond milk, cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, and cloves.
  3. Simmer 7 minutes, whisking occasionally.
  4. Remove tea bags, strain mixture if desired.
  5. Stir in maple syrup and vanilla extract.
  6. Pour into mugs, sip smugly like you’re at a café.
