Method
 

  1. Blend milk, cherries, maple syrup, vanilla, and salt until completely smooth.

  3. Divide into jars, seal tightly, and refrigerate for at least 6 hours until thick and spoonable.
  4. Stir before serving. Add extra milk for a softer consistency and top with cherries or almonds if desired.

Notes

For a softer pudding, stir in additional milk before serving. For a thicker texture, increase the chia seeds slightly. Freeze sealed jars for up to one month and thaw overnight in the refrigerator. Stir gently before serving for easy assembly. Customize flavor with almond extract, cinnamon, cocoa powder, or mixed berries. Store covered in the refrigerator for up to five days.
