Ingredients

  • Burger buns — 4
  • Olive oil — 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic powder — 1 teaspoon
  • Onion powder — 1 teaspoon
  • Salt — 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper — ½ teaspoon
  • Lettuce leaves — 4
  • Tomato slices — 4
  • Vegan cheese slices — 4
  • Ketchup — 2 tablespoons
  • Mustard — 1 tablespoon

Method
 

  1. Add plant-based ground beef to mixing bowl.
  2. Mix garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper into protein mixture.
  3. Shape mixture into 4 patties.
  4. Heat skillet with olive oil over medium heat.
  5. Cook patties 4–5 minutes per side.
  6. Place vegan cheese slices on patties during final minute.
  7. Toast burger buns lightly.
  8. Place lettuce on bottom bun.
  9. Add cooked patty on top.
  10. Add tomato slices, ketchup, and mustard.
  11. Cover with top bun and serve.
