Ingredients
  

  • 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • ½ cup vegan butter softened
  • ½ cup coconut oil softened
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup cane sugar
  • ¼ cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups vegan chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt together.
  3. In another bowl, beat vegan butter, coconut oil, brown sugar, and cane sugar until creamy.
  4. Add applesauce and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
  5. Slowly fold dry ingredients into wet mixture until combined.
  6. Stir in chocolate chips evenly.
  7. Scoop dough onto baking sheet, spacing two inches apart.
  8. Bake 10–12 minutes until edges turn golden brown.
  9. Cool cookies on rack before devouring.
