Ingredients
  

  • 4 plant-based pork chops
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • ½ cup coconut cream
  • ½ cup vegetable broth
  • 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 tablespoon parsley

Method
 

  1. Heat oil in a pan on medium heat.
  2. Sear vegan pork chops for 4 minutes on each side.
  3. Remove chops and set aside.
  4. Add mushrooms to the pan and sauté 3 minutes.
  5. Pour in vegetable broth and stir.
  6. Add coconut cream, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  7. Whisk until smooth and creamy.
  8. Return chops to the pan.
  9. Simmer 5 minutes until sauce thickens.
  10. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
