Ingredients

For the Vegan “Pork Chops”
  • 2 cups seitan or thick-cut tempeh
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
For the Apple Salsa
  • 1 green apple diced
  • 1 red apple diced
  • ¼ red onion minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp chopped cilantro
  • ½ jalapeño finely diced (optional, for spice)
  • Salt to taste
For Garnish
