Ground Beef & Lentil Chili Dinner Recipe

A hearty, protein-packed chili combining ground beef and lentils with rich spices.

Ingredients
  

  • 250 g ground beef
  • 1 cup cooked lentils
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup tomato puree
  • 1 cup broth or water
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add onion and garlic, sauté until soft.
  3. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in chili powder and cumin.
  5. Add tomato puree and broth.
  6. Add lentils and mix well.
  7. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat.
  8. Simmer for 20–25 minutes.
  9. Season and serve hot.
