High-Protein French Toast Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • Whole grain bread – 4 slices
  • Eggs – 2 large
  • Milk – 1/4 cup
  • Vanilla protein powder – 1/4 cup
  • Cinnamon – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Vanilla extract – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Butter or oil – 1 tablespoon

Method
 

  1. Whisk eggs, milk, protein powder, cinnamon, and vanilla extract in a bowl until smooth.
  2. Heat skillet over medium heat and add butter or oil.
  3. Dip each bread slice into mixture, coating both sides evenly.
  4. Place coated slices onto skillet.
  5. Cook for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown.
  6. Remove and serve warm.
