  • Vegan honey-style syrup maple or agave – 2 tablespoons
  • Lime juice – 2 tablespoons
  • Lime zest – 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic – 2 cloves minced
  • Smoked paprika – ½ teaspoon
  • Black pepper – ¼ teaspoon
  • Salt – to taste
  • Fresh cilantro – 2 tablespoons chopped

Method
 

  1. Preheat grill pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Whisk syrup, lime juice, zest, olive oil, garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Toss plant-based shrimp in the marinade until coated.
  4. Place shrimp on the grill pan in a single layer.
  5. Grill for 3–4 minutes per side until lightly charred.
  6. Brush remaining glaze during grilling.
  7. Remove from heat and garnish with cilantro.
