Ingredients
  

  • Plant-based ground beef — 1 lb
  • Jalapeños sliced — 2
  • Vegan pepper jack cheese — 4 slices
  • Burger buns — 4
  • Olive oil — 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic powder — 1 teaspoon
  • Onion powder — 1 teaspoon
  • Salt — 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper — ½ teaspoon
  • Lettuce leaves — 4
  • Tomato slices — 4

Method
 

  1. Add plant-based ground beef to mixing bowl.
  2. Mix garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper into mixture.
  3. Shape mixture into 4 patties.
  4. Heat skillet with olive oil over medium heat.
  5. Cook patties 4–5 minutes per side.
  6. Place pepper jack slices on patties during final minute.
  7. Toast burger buns lightly.
  8. Place lettuce on bottom bun.
  9. Add cooked patty and jalapeño slices.
  10. Add tomato slices and cover with top bun.
  11. Serve immediately.
