  • Maple syrup – 1/2 cup
  • Brown sugar – 1/4 cup
  • Egg – 1 large
  • Vanilla extract – 1 teaspoon

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Beat butter, maple syrup, and brown sugar until smooth.
  4. Add egg and vanilla extract, then mix thoroughly.
  5. Gradually combine dry mixture into wet mixture to form dough.
  6. Scoop tablespoon portions onto baking sheet.
  7. Flatten slightly for even baking.
  8. Bake for 10–11 minutes until edges turn golden.
  9. Cool completely before serving.
