  • Vegan pork-style chops – 2 pieces 120 g each
  • Pure maple syrup – 1½ tablespoons
  • Dijon mustard – 1 tablespoon
  • Whole grain mustard – 1 teaspoon
  • Soy sauce – 1 tablespoon
  • Apple cider vinegar – 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic minced – 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper – ½ teaspoon
  • Cornstarch – 1 teaspoon
  • Water – 3 tablespoons
  • Neutral cooking oil – 1 tablespoon

Method
 

  1. Pat vegan pork chops dry and place them aside confidently.
  2. Whisk maple syrup, mustards, soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, pepper, cornstarch, and water until smooth.
  3. Heat skillet with oil over medium heat.
  4. Sear vegan chops for 3 minutes per side until lightly golden.
  5. Lower heat and pour maple mustard sauce into pan.
  6. Simmer chops for 7 minutes, flipping once for even glazing.
  7. Spoon sauce continuously until thick and glossy.
  8. Remove when coating clings beautifully.
  9. Rest chops 2 minutes, then serve with pride.
