Ingredients
  

  • Plant-based ground beef — 1 lb
  • Mushrooms sliced — 2 cups
  • Vegan Swiss cheese slices — 4
  • Burger buns — 4
  • Olive oil — 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic powder — 1 teaspoon
  • Salt — 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper — ½ teaspoon
  • Onion sliced — 1 cup
  • Lettuce leaves — 4

Method
 

  1. Add plant-based ground beef to mixing bowl.
  2. Mix garlic powder, salt, and pepper into mixture.
  3. Shape mixture into 4 patties.
  4. Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in skillet over medium heat.
  5. Cook onion and mushrooms for 6 minutes until browned.
  6. Remove vegetables from skillet.
  7. Heat remaining olive oil in skillet.
  8. Cook patties 5 minutes per side.
  9. Place vegan Swiss slices on patties during final minute.
  10. Toast burger buns lightly.
  11. Place lettuce on bun, add patty, then mushrooms and onions.
  12. Cover with top bun and serve.
