  • Unsalted butter softened – 1/4 cup
  • Creamy peanut butter – 1/2 cup
  • Granulated sugar – 1/2 cup
  • Brown sugar – 1/4 cup
  • Egg – 1 large
  • Vanilla extract – 1 teaspoon

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Beat butter, peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  4. Add egg and vanilla extract, then mix well.
  5. Gradually combine dry mixture into wet mixture to form dough.
  6. Scoop tablespoon-sized dough balls onto baking sheet.
  7. Press each ball gently with a fork to create a crisscross pattern.
  8. Bake for 10–11 minutes until edges set.
  9. Cool completely on rack before serving.
