Vegan pulled “pork” sliders using shredded jackfruit, smoky spices, tangy BBQ sauce, and soft slider buns.

- 2 cans young green jackfruit in water or brine 20 oz each, drained and shredded
- 1 cup vegan BBQ sauce
- 1 small onion finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp chili powder
- ½ tsp cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 vegan slider buns
- Optional: vegan coleslaw or pickles for topping
Heat olive oil in skillet; sauté onion and garlic until translucent.
Add shredded jackfruit, smoked paprika, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
Pour BBQ sauce over jackfruit; stir and simmer 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Toast slider buns lightly if desired.
Assemble sliders by piling BBQ jackfruit on buns; top with coleslaw or pickles if using.
