  • Gochujang – 1½ tablespoons
  • Soy sauce – 1 tablespoon
  • Brown sugar – 1 tablespoon
  • Rice vinegar – 1 teaspoon
  • Sesame oil – 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic minced – 1 teaspoon
  • Ginger grated – ½ teaspoon
  • Red chili flakes – ½ teaspoon
  • Cornstarch – 1 teaspoon
  • Water – 3 tablespoons
  • Neutral cooking oil – 1 tablespoon

Method
 

  1. Pat vegan pork chops dry and set aside confidently.
  2. Whisk gochujang, soy sauce, sugar, vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, chili flakes, cornstarch, and water.
  3. Heat skillet with oil over medium heat until ready.
  4. Sear vegan chops for 3 minutes per side until lightly crisped.
  5. Reduce heat and pour spicy sauce into pan.
  6. Simmer chops in sauce for 7 minutes, flipping once for coverage.
  7. Spoon glaze continuously until thick and shiny.
  8. Remove from heat when sauce clings dramatically.
  9. Rest chops 2 minutes, then serve boldly.
