Spicy Turkey Chili Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • Plant-based ground turkey — 14 oz
  • Kidney beans drained — 1 can (15 oz)
  • Black beans drained — 1 can (15 oz)
  • Crushed tomatoes — 2 cups
  • Onion diced — 1 cup
  • Garlic minced — 3 cloves
  • Olive oil — 1 tbsp
  • Chili powder — 2 tbsp
  • Smoked paprika — 1 tsp
  • Cumin — 1 tsp
  • Cayenne pepper — ¼ tsp
  • Vegetable broth — 1 cup
  • Bell pepper chopped — 1 cup
  • Corn kernels — 1 cup
  • Salt — ½ tsp

Method
 

  1. Heat olive oil in large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add diced onion, bell pepper, and garlic; cook 4 minutes.
  3. Add 14 oz plant-based ground turkey and cook 5 minutes while stirring.
  4. Stir in chili powder, paprika, cumin, and cayenne pepper.
  5. Add crushed tomatoes, vegetable broth, kidney beans, black beans, and corn.
  6. Stir mixture thoroughly and bring to gentle simmer.
  7. Cook chili for 25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  8. Add salt and adjust seasoning before serving.
