Teriyaki Ground Turkey Stir-Fry Recipe

A playful vegan stir-fry featuring plant-based ground turkey, vegetables, and sticky teriyaki glaze cooked quickly in one pan.

Ingredients
  

  • Plant-based ground turkey — 14 oz
  • Broccoli florets — 2 cups
  • Bell pepper sliced — 1 cup
  • Carrots julienned — 1 cup
  • Snap peas — 1 cup
  • Garlic minced — 3 cloves
  • Ginger grated — 1 tbsp
  • Teriyaki sauce vegan — ½ cup
  • Soy sauce — 1 tbsp
  • Sesame oil — 2 tsp
  • Olive oil — 1 tbsp
  • Cornstarch — 1 tsp
  • Water — 2 tbsp
  • Cooked brown rice — 2 cups
  • Sesame seeds — 1 tsp

Method
 

  1. Heat olive oil in skillet over medium-high heat for 1 minute.
  2. Add 14 oz plant-based ground turkey and cook 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
  3. Stir in garlic and ginger; sauté 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add broccoli, bell pepper, carrots, and snap peas. Cook 4 minutes while stirring.
  5. Pour in teriyaki sauce and soy sauce. Mix thoroughly.
  6. Combine cornstarch with water, then add into skillet.
  7. Cook 3 minutes until sauce thickens and coats vegetables evenly.
  8. Drizzle sesame oil and stir once more.
  9. Serve over 2 cups cooked brown rice.
  10. Sprinkle sesame seeds before serving.
