Ingredients
Method
- Heat olive oil in a pan.
- Add vegan turkey meatballs and cook for 5–6 minutes, turning occasionally.
- Remove and set aside.
- Add olive oil, onions, and garlic to the same pan.
- Sauté until fragrant.
- Add tomato puree, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, chili flakes, and sugar.
- Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add cooked vegan meatballs back into the sauce.
- Coat well and simmer for 3–4 minutes.
- Add basil.
- Serve over pasta or rice and garnish with parsley.
