- In another, beat vegan butter, almond butter, brown sugar, and cane sugar until fluffy.
- Add applesauce and vanilla, stirring until smooth.
- Slowly fold dry mixture into wet to form dough.
- Stir in chocolate chips and almonds evenly.
- Scoop dough balls onto baking sheet, spacing two inches apart.
- Bake 10–12 minutes until edges turn golden.
- Cool on a rack, then devour shamelessly.
