Ingredients
  

  • Cooked chickpeas: 1½ cups 250 g
  • Tahini: 3 tablespoons
  • Lemon juice: 2 tablespoons
  • Olive oil: 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic cloves: 2 medium
  • Cold water: 2–4 tablespoons
  • Salt: ¾ teaspoon
  • Ground cumin: ½ teaspoon
  • Paprika optional garnish: ¼ teaspoon

Method
 

  1. Add cooked chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, salt, and cumin to the blender.
  2. Blend until thick and grainy, scraping sides as needed.
  3. Pour olive oil slowly while blending for smooth consistency.
  4. Add cold water one tablespoon at a time until creamy.
  5. Blend again for one minute until airy and silky.
  6. Transfer to a bowl and finish with paprika if desired.
