  • Vegan pulled pork jackfruit or soy-based – 2 cups, shredded
  • Onion – 1 medium sliced
  • Garlic – 1 tbsp minced
  • Tomato puree – ½ cup
  • Vegetable broth – ½ cup
  • Olive oil – 1 tbsp
Sauce Mix
  • Smoked paprika – 1 tsp
  • Chili powder – ½ tsp
  • Cumin – ½ tsp
  • Soy sauce – 1 tbsp
  • Maple syrup – 1 tbsp

  • Pepper – ¼ tsp

Method
 

  1. Place vegan pulled pork, onion, and garlic into the crockpot.
  2. Add tomato puree, vegetable broth, and olive oil.
  3. In a small bowl, combine smoked paprika, chili powder, cumin, soy sauce, maple syrup, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour the sauce mix into the crockpot.
  5. Stir gently to coat everything.
  6. Cook on LOW for 4 hours.
  7. Shred lightly with a fork if using jackfruit.
