  • Pasta spaghetti or linguine – 150 g
  • Vegan butter – 2 tablespoons
  • Olive oil – 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic – 5 cloves minced
  • Red chili flakes – ¼ teaspoon
  • Lemon juice – 1 tablespoon
  • Pasta water – ¼ cup
  • Salt – to taste
  • Black pepper – ¼ teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley – 2 tablespoons chopped

Method
 

  1. Cook pasta in salted water according to package instructions, reserving ¼ cup pasta water.
  2. Heat olive oil and vegan butter in a pan over medium heat.
  3. Add garlic and chili flakes, sauté gently for 30 seconds.
  4. Add plant-based shrimp and cook for 3–4 minutes until lightly golden.
  5. Add cooked pasta and reserved water, tossing to coat evenly.
  6. Season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
  7. Finish with parsley and serve immediately.
