Turkey Chili Skillet Easy Recipe

A hearty vegan chili skillet made with plant-based turkey, beans, vegetables, and warming spices.

Ingredients
  

  • Plant-based ground turkey — 14 oz
  • Black beans drained — 1 can (15 oz)
  • Crushed tomatoes — 2 cups
  • Onion diced — 1 cup
  • Garlic minced — 3 cloves
  • Olive oil — 1 tbsp
  • Chili powder — 2 tbsp
  • Cumin — 1 tsp
  • Smoked paprika — 1 tsp
  • Corn kernels — 1 cup
  • Bell pepper chopped — 1 cup
  • Salt — ½ tsp
  • Black pepper — ¼ tsp

Method
 

  1. Heat olive oil in large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add onion, bell pepper, and garlic; cook 4 minutes.
  3. Add plant-based ground turkey and cook 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in chili powder, cumin, and smoked paprika.
  5. Add crushed tomatoes, black beans, and corn.
  6. Stir mixture thoroughly.
  7. Simmer chili for 15 minutes.
  8. Add salt and black pepper.
  9. Stir gently and serve warm.
