Ingredients
  

  • Plant-based ground turkey — 12 oz
  • Pasta — 8 oz
  • Crushed tomatoes — 2 cups
  • Onion diced — 1 cup
  • Garlic minced — 3 cloves
  • Olive oil — 1 tbsp
  • Italian seasoning — 1 tsp
  • Tomato paste — 1 tbsp
  • Salt — ½ tsp
  • Black pepper — ¼ tsp
  • Spinach — 2 cups
  • Fresh basil — 2 tbsp

Method
 

  1. Boil pasta in large pot according to package instructions.
  2. Heat olive oil in skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add onion and garlic; cook 3 minutes.
  4. Add 12 oz plant-based ground turkey and cook 5 minutes.
  5. Stir in tomato paste, crushed tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  6. Simmer sauce for 10 minutes.
  7. Add spinach and cook until wilted.
  8. Drain pasta and add into skillet.
  9. Toss pasta with sauce until coated evenly.
  10. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
