Ingredients
Method
- Heat the pot.
- Add 1 tbsp olive oil and sauté onions until soft.
- Add aromatics.
- Stir in 1 tbsp garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
- Cook the plant-based beef.
- Add 200g vegan beef crumbles and cook until browned.
- Season boldly.
- Add chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Add lentils.
- Mix in 1 cup cooked lentils.
- Build the base.
- Stir in 1 cup tomato puree and ½ cup water.
- Add veggies.
- Add ½ cup diced bell peppers.
- Simmer.
- Cook 10–12 minutes until thick and flavorful.
- Finish.
- Add 1 tbsp lemon juice and fresh herbs.
